He wrote the famous “Don Quixote”, which is considered one of the best works of fiction ever written. He influenced the Spanish language so much that it is often called “the language of Cervantes”. His father was Rodrigo de Cervantes (he was a surgeon), his mother was Leonor de Cortinas and his siblings were Andres, Andrea, Luisa, Rodrigo, Magdalena and Juan.
